To this spot lie the remains of SUSANNAH, the much lamented wife of GEORGE ANSLOW, who has caused this stone to be erected to her memory, not only as a simple record of her decease but as a sincere, though feeble memorial of his everlasting gratitude and affection. She departed this life on the 21st of November 1840 and rests here in the sure and certain hope of a joyful resurrection to eternal life. She was a most exemplary character in every station through life and her end was peace. The above named GEORGE ANSLOW died November 1st 1854. Aged 62 years. 11.
