What is the point of life? Why do people suffer? What happens when we die? Is forgiveness possible? WHAT IS ALPHA? The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It is a series of talks looking at topics such as ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and How do I Pray?’ It’s relaxed, low key, friendly and fun There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know each other Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. After each talk we divide into small groups for a time of discussion
WHO IS ALPHA FOR? Alpha is for everyone, especially; Those wanting to investigate Christianity New Christians Newcomers to the Church Those who want to ‘brush up’ on the basics Alpha will be taking place in Brewood on Thursday evenings, starting on January 22nd, between 7 and 9.30 pm, in St Mary & St Chad Church

Youth Club "Inside Out"GO2: Live it. Do it. WE DID IT ! Saturday 18th October at Lichfield Cathedral was a new experience for all of us. The small group from IO (our youth club ) attended the first evening youth event that the cathedral had held and what a night to remember. We shared teaching, worship and music, very loud, from the Christian band ’ The Rumour’ and heard what Chris Lane had to tell in his amusing stories. The main message we came away with is “Do what you can, Where you are, With what you have.” Judges 3: v31. One verse but with a very powerful message for all of us. And what a joy it was to be with hundreds of other teenage Christians singing, praying and sharing our faith in such a fun way. Jane Smith - Youth Minister IO is Christian Youth Group for children aged 11 upwards and will be held every two weeks on Sunday evenings from 7 to 9 pm in Brewood Youth Hut in Four Ashes Road.
